OMG if you have not read The Help yet then get in your car, drive to Barnes and Noble and buy it now! Believe the hype. This is easily one of the best books I have ever read. Seriously, and I read a lot of books. Prior to reading this book, I read a review about it that stated that this book could be the To Kill a Mockingbird of this generation. Of course the English major in me deemed that review absolute hypocrisy...until I read this book. While To Kill a Mockingbird is an irreplaceable classic, I honestly think that this book will join it as one of those influential books that people will still be reading 50 years from now. You will laugh, you will cry and you will be forever changed after reading this book. It is absolutely a must read!
