We rented a house in Orlando for the bachelorette festivities so that we could all stay together and plus it was cheaper than getting multiple hotel rooms. Just like for my friend Emily's bachelorette party, we used Home Away to find the rental property. On Friday after work, we drove down to Orlando and spent the evening just hanging out at the house playing the traditional bachelorette party games. There may have also been a festive cake (which is too inappropriate to be pictured here on my blog), boozy fish and a dance party on the dining room table, but nothing too crazy :)
During the day on Saturday, we stayed around the house enjoying our mimosas by the pool.
We also had an instructor from Colors & Bottles come to the house and give us a poolside painting lesson. We learned how to paint Van Gogh's Starry Night which was a pretty long and tedious process, but we had our mimosas and the beautiful weather to help make it a great time.
Now, we all have a lovely piece of artwork to display! I love doing these painting classes because its so cool to see how everyone interprets the same piece of art so differently.
After our painting lesson, we lounged/napped by the pool and got a little sun while resting up for our upcoming night out on the town. I totally love my new cup too! Heather gave us these monogrammed tumblers as a party favor.
Saturday night we ventured out to CityWalk at Universal Studios for dinner and bar hopping. Heather's sister, Samantha, is also getting married (in April) so we actually had a double bachelorette party for both of the Boden sisters!
We rented a party bus to take us to and from CityWalk since we are such responsible adults :)
Ready for a girls' night out in CityWalk!
(Of course some dude had to photo bomb our picture. Rude)
We had dinner at Margaritaville in CityWalk and this Mardi Gras/stilt-walker/balloon-animal-maker lady came to our table to make some balloon accessories for the bachelorettes. Heather claimed that she was the "good" bachelorette so she got the angel wings. Still not sure about that one :)
After dinner, we hit up Pat O'Briens Irish Pub for their St. Patrick's block party. There were free hats and beads involved. Score.
Kappa Sigma Wives Club!
We had such a wonderful weekend celebrating these beautiful brides!
Congratulations Heather and Samantha!

Looks like a great weekend, and an awesome house! I painted Stary night at one of those classes, and it was HARD!
ReplyDeleteHow come you have better pics than me?!? I'm stealing them,
