Confessional Friday

Today, I'm linking up with Leslie at Blonde Ambition for Confessional Friday! The purpose of this link up is for me to confess my innermost thoughts, questionable ideas and embarrassing moments from this week. Basically, this is the perfect time to tell all the things you think during the week, but are too polite to say out loud.

Confession time! Here we go...

1. Sometimes I am seriously afraid for our future. If my students are going to be in charge of running this country one day, we are in big trouble. I am shocked and appauled everyday by the ridiculous things that some of them say and do.

2. I put my Christmas tree up on Sunday and I still have not decorated it. It's just standing in my living room, bare, mocking me. Every day this week, I have come home from work with every intention of decorating it, but then I sit there and stare at it and remember how much work it is and then I end up not doing it. I am getting up tomorrow morning and decorating it, for real.

3. I do not give two shits about what the Kardashians are doing. I wish they would disappear.
4. I have been such a lazy teacher this week. I haven't graded a single paper all week and I really don't care. They just keep piling more and more work on us teachers and our hard work pretty much just gets spit on. I work way to hard all the time, so I'm taking a break.
.
5. I ate a Totino's party pizza for dinner last night...all by myself. You know that if a frozen pizza only costs $1.37 at Walmart, it must be healthy :) It brought back memories of being in college when I would hang out at Kappa Sigma with the boys and we would eat them all the time. We used to buy them 10 for $10 in Tallahassee.

6. I haven't washed my hair all week. The good thing about having really thick hair is that it hardly ever has to be washed. Especially when it is cold outside. Usually I only have to do it twice a week, but the winter makes it last even longer. Trust me, if you had as much hair as I do, this would make you excited too.

7. I fully intend on spending my weekend watching the Harry Potter marathon on ABC family. Everytime there is a Harry Potter marathon, I just can't help but get sucked in. I've seen all of the movies so many times, but I still can't help it. Harry Potter weekend marathons seriously turn me into the most unproductive human being on the planet.

Have a great weekend!

  1. I'm loving your confessions!

I worry about the future with my first graders in charge...even they say the scariest things!

As for washing my hair, I can go a few days without washing it too! Thank goodness for thick hair :)
