We had such a wonderful Saturday after Thanksgiving. It included all of my favorite pastimes...visting St. Augustine, drinking wine and beating the Gators! It was a glorious day :)
My mom, Gina, Erika and I went to downtown St. Augustine to enjoy the fabulous weather and Christmas decorations. Our first stop was lunch at Scarlet O'Haras...one of my favorite restaurants in St. Augustine.
Then we frolicked around the Castillo de San Marcos (aka: the fort). None of them had ever done this before so we had to do it. Frolicking around the outside of the fort is part of the "Jacki and Casey do everything in St. Augustine for free" tour. Why pay money to go inside the fort when I can see the same darn thing from the outside for free.
Next, we went to my favorite bar in St. Augustine where they have the most delicious sangria...Taberna del Gallo. I taught everyone how to play the game "Shut the Box" while we enjoyed our sangria.
Soon we had to head back to the house to get everything ready for the game. Jared and I had everyone over to our house to watch the FSU vs. UF game and eat Thanksgiving leftovers. My aunt even had these cool adirondack chairs made for us. The Seminole one is for Jared and I and the Gator one is for my brother and his wife.
This game is always so nerve-wracking for me. Although both teams played pretty poorly in the game, the Seminole defense was able to pull out the victory for us. It was amazing. I just love it when we beat the Gators! Another whole year of bragging rights yay :)

Go Noles!

I SO wish we could have shut out the gators, but I guess a W in the books will do. Lol
