Erika's Graduation

My sister-in-law, Erika, graduated this past weekend from Florida State University with her Masters degree in Social Work! Needless to say, I am super proud of her :)

This means that I got to spend the entire weekend in Tallahassee with my husband's family partying it up! On Friday night, we went out to Ken's and Red Rocks which were packed on account of everyone likes to bring their parents out to the bar with them graduation weekend. Yeah, so maybe we were guilty of doing the exact same thing :)

Saturday was graduation day! The ceremony itself wasn't until 2pm so we had a little family lunch outing beforehand.

Next up was the actual graduation ceremony where I proceeded to take a bunch of blurry pictures from really far away with my iPhone.

I was really excited because Lee Corso, who also happens to be an FSU alum, was the Commencement Address speaker! He did a really good job and for once I was actually interested in the Commencement Address.

Since he remained up on the stage during the awarding of the diplomas, a bunch of the graduates kept getting out of the line to go up and shake his hand. I totally would have done the same thing, so I'm glad Erika seized the opportunity as well :)

After the ceremony, it was time for the traditional graduation photo shoot. I was the official photographer for our little graduate :)

In the midst of taking pictures at the stadium, we managed to run into Gene Deckerhoff - the voice of the Seminoles!

Saturday night we headed out to Bullwinkle's to celebrate Erika's wonderful accomplishment!

Overall, it was a great weekend back in Tallahassee. Jared and I are so proud of our little sister! We love you Erika :) Congrats!
