Miracle Treat Day

Today is Miracle Treat Day! So that means that you need to get on over to your local Dairy Queen and buy a Blizzard. Proceeds from the Blizzard that you purchase today will go directly to Children's Miracle Network.

I am a huge supporter of Children's Miracle Network, as it is my sorority's national philanthropy and the organization supported by Dance Marathon which I participated in every year of college. So I will definitely be getting myself a Blizzard today :)

Money donated to Children's Miracle Network goes directly to the CMN hospitals in your local area. Meaning, your donation helps the kids in your own community. There was a mom who used to come speak at Dance Marathon every year, and she always brought me to tears. She would tell the story of how she participated in Dance Marathon at FSU as an undergrad and then once she became a mom, she found out that her son had a life-threatening illness that would require the care of a CMN hospital. She said that she was so glad to have participated in Dance Marathon in college because the service she gave then is now saving her son's life.
