Happy Thursday everyone! For some apparent reason I seem to be over-analyzing anything and everything that is going on today. I just have so many random thoughts bouncing around in my head, so now I am going to word vomit them all over your computer screen. Enjoy :)
#1. Why do I always get lost in the ghetto? Yes, I have lived in Jacksonville for over 20 years and yes I still do not know my way around every area of this city. Give me a break, it is the largest city (according to land mass) in the United States. Plus, there are just some areas of Jacksonville that I simply don't care to know because I am never going to go there (hopefully). So whenever I have to cross the river and venture into the unknown areas of Jacksonville, you can bet that I am going to get lost.
Now, you might be wondering how I always go about getting myself lost. Simple, I have a cheap phone that does not have a GPS and I don't have a GPS in my car. I have a paper map in my car. Yes, a paper map. Not to mention the fact that my paper map is probably from the 90s, so it isn't even up to date. Whenever I am going somewhere new, I just print out Google Maps directions and follow those. Sometimes I stray from the Google directions and try to take a shorter route, bad choice. This is when I get lost, and for some reason every time I get lost I end up in the ghetto. Why can't my internal compass take me in the direction of a nice country club or something? Nope, it's always the ghetto. So I try to make a quick exit, since someone will eventually notice that the little Volvo with the Phi Mu sticker is not supposed to be there; finally feeling relieved when I see that I-95 South sign.
#2. Go away Casey Anthony. That's all I have to say about that.
#3. Why does ABC Family take away all hope of me ever being productive? Every time I turn on the television, ABC Family has some new ridiculous show or movie that I become addicted to. They are all so terrible but I just can't stop watching them. Every time I watch Secret Life of the American Teenager I want to slap myself in the face for actually wasting my own time watching such a train wreck. I find myself swearing that I will never watch this terrible show ever again, but then I just can't look away. Then they like to do these all day marathons of their horribly addicting shows. So instead of cleaning the house that day, I end up watch 10 hours of Pretty Little Liars. And the worst of the worst...
The 4-day Harry Potter weekend marathon. Seriously? Now, I have to be worthless for 4 whole days. What makes this even worse is that I don't know why I feel the need to watch the 4-day marathon because I own all the Harry Potter movies on DVD. I can watch them whenever I want! But no, if they come on TV I can't help but sit down and watch them...all. Plus, the 4-day Harry Potter weekend marathon happens like 6 times a year. It's not like this is a once a year opportunity, it's probably going to happen again two months from now.
Oh and just FYI...yet another 4-day Harry Potter weekend marathon starts tonight. Have a good weekend :)
